Maths Teacher

Role Overview: Are you passionate about teaching Maths and making a real difference in students' lives? An Ofsted-rated "Good" college in Derbyshire is seeking two maths Teachers to deliver GCSE and Functional Skills Maths (AQA) to their learners.

The positions offer both full-time and part-time options, with flexibility to ensure class coverage.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons for both GCSE (AQA) and Functional Skills students.
• Foster a positive learning environment, ensuring students are challenged, engaged, and making progress.
• Administer high-quality teaching that encourages retention and achievement.

Hours:

• Role 1: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:15 PM.
• Role 2: Part-time. No work Mondays, Full day Tuesdays, early finish Wed/Fri and just morning on Thursdays

Qualifications Required:

• Level 2 Maths and English.
• Experience teaching GCSE Maths (9-1 curriculum).
• A recognised teaching qualification (Certificate in Education/PGCE/Professional Diploma in Teaching) or currently working towards it.

Additional Notes:

• All applicants must undergo a micro-teach session as part of the interview process.
• Successful candidates will participate in an induction on Day 1.
