Principal Procurement Manager

NonStop's Client is looking for a Principal Procurement Manager to join a Central Government Body. This opportunity will offer you stability through the current challenging market, as it is a 12 month Hybrid contract position.

This is a superb opportunity for someone wanting to work within the Nuclear Environment which is highly regulated.

As a Principal Procurement Manager, you will drive, implement and execute Category Management, Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management for a complex group of categories, with the ultimate objective of leveraging and securing supplier base to support its current and future business requirements, whilst mitigating risks. The Principal Category Manger is accountable for the end to end category performance for the category group and for driving and managing multimillion-pound Procurements.

2. Portfolio planning
3. Experience of working in a Public Sector Commercial Team and managing the procurement process
