Kinetic Recruitment are looking for Time-Served Mechanical Fitters for long-term contracts with a well established engineering company in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Dayshift positions initially then the potential for a 3 shift pattern
30% uplift for 3 shift position
Min 2 years worth of work
£18 per hour basic
£27 per hour overtime
Overtime available

The Role:
Perform mechanical fitting and assembly activities using hand and machine tools working to fine tolerances.
Check finished work in accordance with required standards using relevant measuring equipment.
Maintain tooling, components, machine and working environment in a clean and orderly state.
Carry out first line maintenance in line with training.
Maintain documentation in line with requirements.

Skills and Experience:
Time-Served in a recognised engineering discipline (Mechanical).
Experience using mechanical measuring and inspection equipment (micrometers etc).
Previous Mechanical Fitting experience is essential.

Working hour:
7.30am - 4.00pm Mon-Thurs
7.30am - 12.30pm Fri
