Cityworx are recruiting on behalf of an established domiciliary care provider who are looking to take on an experienced registered manager.

They are looking for someone who is responsible for:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed of all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines that govern the provision of care services. Ensure that the organization fully adheres to legal and regulatory requirements, including those set by regulatory bodies such as the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and others.
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership and management to the care, nursing, and office teams, ensuring effective communication, motivation, and support across all departments.
  • Care Planning and Implementation: Develop comprehensive, individualised care plans that address each client's unique needs. Ensure these care plans are regularly reviewed and updated in collaboration with clients, their families, and relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance systems to uphold high standards of care. Regularly conduct audits, inspections, and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and address potential risks to the health, safety, and well-being of clients and staff. Develop and implement policies and procedures that cover safeguarding, infection control, and other risk factors.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, their families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders. Encourage open communication to resolve concerns, manage conflicts, and promote positive outcomes for clients.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives aimed at continuously improving the quality and effectiveness of care services. Promote innovation and creativity to develop new approaches that meet the changing needs of clients or residents.
  • Client Advocacy: Serve as a strong advocate for clients, ensuring their rights, choices, and preferences are always respected. Foster a culture of person-centered care that promotes empowerment, dignity, independence, and choice, in alignment with the company’s values.
  • Marketing and Sales: Provide leadership in marketing the service and selling it at agreed prices.
  • Out-of-Hours Rota: Participate in the out-of-hours rota as directed by your line manager.
