About the role:

Join our vibrant school community in Enfield as a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (TA), specialising in providing boosters for low-achieving students! As a Key Stage 1 TA, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Inclusion team and providing targeted interventions for students who may need extra help. Your main responsibility will be to work with low-achieving students, delivering focused booster sessions designed to enhance their learning experience and boost their confidence. You’ll collaborate with classroom teachers to identify areas of need and implement effective strategies that make a difference.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting.

• A genuine passion for supporting young learners, particularly those facing challenges.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.

• An understanding of Special Educational Needs and experience with interventions is an advantage.

• A positive, proactive attitude, with a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and delivering tailored booster sessions for students requiring additional support in core subjects.

• Work closely with the teaching staff to monitor student progress and adapt interventions as necessary.

• Create a nurturing and encouraging learning environment that inspires students to engage with their learning.

• Foster strong relationships with students, promoting their social and emotional well-being.

• Support the classroom teacher with daily classroom activities and organisation.
