Job Title: Locum Occupational Therapist

Location: Wisbech/Ely

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: Ongoing

  • Full or part time

  • Exciting short-term opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to work between 2 In-Patient Rehabilitation Wards, located in Ely and Wisbech (17 bed wards)

    The roles of the Occupational Therapist include:

  • Assessing new patients admitted to the ward for inpatient rehabilitation. Inclusive of a functional assessment, careful consideration of home environment and subsequent discharge planning and goal setting.
  • Forming and implementing treatment plans, supporting with rehabilitation
  • Supporting junior members of staff, including delegation and supervisory responsibilities.
  • To attend multidisciplinary team meetings, whiteboard meetings and remote meetings discussing patient flow. To have oversight of the ward to enable this.
  • Qualified Occupational Therapist
