An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teacher of English at one of our Halton Sixth Form Colleges. The role is to start as soon as possible.

The daily rate will be up to £251.71 depending on experience. Our client Sixth Form College are looking for an English Teacher who possesses excellent subject knowledge.

The role:

  • Outstanding Teacher of GCSE English and Functional Skills

  • Temporary initially with the potential to become a permanent post
  • Excellent maths subject knowledge and behaviour management are essential

The school:

  • Halton Sixth Form College
  • Graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted

The essentials:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Experience teaching GCSE English & Functional Skills
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
  • Full and complete 10-year career history
  • Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
  • Legal right to work in the UK
