Engineer / Mechanic – LGV and vans

Salary/Rate:
£40,000 - £44,000/annum
An experienced Engineer / Mechanic with transferable skills is required to join a family-owned business that supplies truck-mounted platforms, scissor lifts, self-propelled booms and tracked machines.


THE ROLE:
- Servicing and repair vans and light good vehicles
- Attend breakdowns and complete repairs on site
- Proficiently identify faults
- Complete all paperwork and tablet functionality accurately and on time
- Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of plant/access machines at the depot


KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Full Driving Licence
- Experience of Hydraulic, Electrical and Mechanical systems
- Ability to service, fault find and repair equipment
- Good communication and able to work with a positive attitude to customer service 
- Time serviced or qualified by experience Engineer


SALARY & BENEFITS:
- £42,000 - £45,000, dependent on experience
- Overtime + on call allowance
- 20 days holiday + public holidays
