People Change Consultant

Contract Type: Fixed Term (12 months)

Hours: Full Time (37 hours per week)

Salary: £47,621 to £56,025 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Change Consultant to support an ambitious transformation initiative within a dynamic organisation. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing plans for large-scale change, fostering stakeholder engagement at all levels, and driving collaborative efforts to achieve desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialised expertise and guidance to leadership teams, ensuring alignment between change initiatives and overall program objectives.
  • Navigate complex conversations, effectively presenting, motivating, and influencing stakeholders across various levels.
  • Develop and implement impactful change management strategies, including stakeholder engagement, communication plans, change impact assessments, and transition to business-as-usual practices.
  • Collaborate closely with organisational leaders to analyse and manage the change landscape, ensuring priorities are effectively managed.
  • Assess the impact of change initiatives, measuring performance indicators and recommending improvements to enhance organisational processes.
  • Coach and mentor leaders to build change capability within the organisation, modelling continuous learning and leadership behaviours.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and integrate best practices into change management processes.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience; qualifications in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, APMG) are desirable.
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale change, with a strong understanding of project and program management principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of Change Management frameworks and methodologies, such as Prosci and ADKAR.
  • Familiarity with organisational development theories and their application in complex environments.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
  • Experience in planning and facilitating stakeholder engagement activities, including workshops and training sessions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change programs effectively, including risk identification and mitigation planning.
  • Capable of managing diverse workloads and maintaining composure under pressure.
