Our Client is developing one of the leading infrastructure projects in Europe. This is a hugely complex and highly technical exciting rail achievement once completed and this is an opportunity to be part of it.

We are looking for a Project Engineer with a design and CDM Background which could be from a Civils, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or Geotech Engineering background to coordinate the CDM Designs which will incur applying the standards set out, communication internally and externally with contractors and consultancies, and analysing data.

This role can be hybrid to either London or Birmingham offices with site visite between those locations.

The experience and skills required for the role include:

  • Understanding what the Principal designers work on
  • Experience within the Rail Industry
  • NEC3 contract knowledge
  • Able to carry out site visits
  • Review procedures and alert others to irregularities

The exciting part of the role will be working on structure rarely seen in the public eye and there will be tunnels, viaducts and other structures you will be working on, along with a multitude of stakeholders from different disciplines.

This is a Technical Assurance role with CDM knowledge supporting the main functions.
