Are you a seasoned Commercial Manager with a strong background in the Defence or Public Sectors?

A fast-growing organisation in Bristol are looking for an experienced professional to lead and manage our commercial operations, driving business success through strategic contract management and stakeholder engagement.

This role will be a mix of remote and working in the office. You will also have the opportunity to travel occasionally to meet clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the primary point of contact for proposals, bids, and contracts, ensuring timely and successful execution
  • Manage commercial processes and frameworks, especially within government procurement regulations
  • Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts, including changes and amendments, to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Work closely with senior leadership, project teams and external partners to support business goals
  • Assist in developing pricing models and commercial strategies, aiming to improve profitability and streamline processes
Key Skills
  • Wide-ranging experience in managing commercial activities
  • Proven track record in contract management for high-value projects
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional organisational abilities
  • Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience developing and implementing bidding strategies
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and governance processes
  • Risk management expertise, with the ability to identify commercial risks effectively
