STA Engineer - F1 - Electrical

This amazing short term contract role for an STA Engineer a is a unique opportunity to showcase your expertise and skills with a world leading Formula 1 organisation.

You will be a key member within the team and the person that secures this position will be crucial to the success of this dynamic company on its F1 projects. The duration of this contract is initially running until the end of the year and will be inside IR35.

You will have practical experience of working in the production, manufacturing, design or inspection of electrical/electronic assemblies (eg looms, sensors, pcba) for high reliability applications, and effectively manage a portfolio of suppliers with confidence. You have knowledge of application of GD&T, New Product Introductions, and testing / failure analysis.

Any experience of the following will be beneficial but not essential:

Experience of understanding the documentation required for production validation, Problem Solving Techniques (six-sigma, 8D, etc…), process auditing and possess excellent interpersonal, time management and organisational skills, and organised as you will promote cross departmental liaisons across Purchasing, Inspection, Build, Manufacturing and Engineering. Creating strong working relationships will help you achieve success.
