Job Title: M&E Project Planner

Location: Surrey and Hampshire based projects

About the company: Our client is a leading construction and infrastructure services company, delivering large iconic projects across various sectors. Their M&E division is at the forefront of delivering innovative and sustainable solutions in the mechanical and electrical engineering space.

Job Description: They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated M&E Project Planner to join their dynamic M&E Planning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing M&E projects based in Surrey and Hampshire from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including resource allocation and critical path analysis.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Utilize project management software and tools to track and manage project activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field would be an advantage 
  • Proven experience as an M&E Project Planner in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in Asta Power Project software 
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
