Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Repairs:
- Perform regular maintenance on warehouse machinery and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime.
- Work with external contractors and suppliers to ensure efficient repairs.
- Maintain warehouse and office systems (e.g., HVAC, lighting, security).
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.
- Assist in training warehouse staff on equipment use and maintenance.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to boost efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
Essential Skills:
- Hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Experience with warehouse control systems (e.g., SCADA, CMMS).
