Aptitude Recruitment work with employers of choice across the skills and employability sector. We are currently looking to support a fantastic private training provider in adding to their engagement team. They require an outstanding Partnership Manager.

Due to rapid growth within the business, we’re looking for a Strategic Partnerships Managers to join our amazing team ! This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic organisation making a difference within the community.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for winning new clients, expanding current relationships and promoting our pre-employment training programmes. This role involves a consultative approach to build employer partnership opportunities, explaining the detail of our tailored training offers to potential clients and securing commitment of interviews for learners leading to successful employment opportunities.

Please note that while this role is majority remote, there will be occasional travel to meeting ang network events within your region


Main Responsibilities

  • Generate leads through various channels including networking, cold outreach, and attending industry events, proactively researching and identifying potential clients and business opportunities within the market.
  • Approach and engage with potential clients to understand their needs and present our pre-employment training solutions, building strong relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Negotiate and secure commitments from clients to interview learners for potential employment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of business development strategies with overall company goals.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, performance and outcomes.


The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in a B2B sales environment and working in educational environments in FE and Skills Sector, especially adult provision.
  • Experience of selling recognised qualifications with the tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to speak with a wide range of people both internally and externally.
  • Able to travel in surrounding area when needed.
