We are seeking a Mathematics Tutor who has a passion in helping students aged 16 to 19 mainly, NEET learners and some students have ADHD, Aspergers, Dyslexia, Anxiety
Job role
- Teaching Math’s from entry level 1 to level 2 functional skills, GCSE level
- Classroom delivery Monday to Thursday at the Centre, Friday working at home completing paperwork
- Teaching anything from 3 to 12 people in the classroom
- Helping the young people to access and achieve a recognised qualification and progress into a positive destination, including apprenticeships
- Monitoring individualized learning programmes
- Development, maintenance, and monitoring training programmes
- Updating learner records
- Delivering induction, initial assessment
- Basic employability training to learners for cv writing, applying for job roles, attending interviews, this is part of the role, and don’t need experience in this area as training can be given
- Lesson plans
Essential for the role
- Qualified Math’s Teacher, Tutor, or Trainer
- Teaching qualification such as B. Ed or PGCE or Cert Ed, CGLI 730 or 924 or equivalent, or similar
- Experience of working in an OFSTED regulated service
- Previously delivered GCSE Math’s or up to level 2 functional skills

- £28,360 to £34,852 per annum
