A leading builders and plumbers merchant in Stoke on Trent is seeking a full-time External Sales Executive to generate new leads and manage existing customer accounts.
The role offers a competitive salary and benefits package with uncapped commission starting at £30,000. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and self-driven individual to join a rapidly expanding company and would suit someone who has previous telesales or customer service experience in building and trades sectors.
As the Sales Executive (External) your responsibilities will include:
You will be working 40 hours per week from the Stoke office, Monday to Friday.

As the Sales Executive (External) your responsibilities will include:
- Prospecting new B2B customers nationally through cold-calling activities.
- Generating new leads and following up on existing leads.
- Understanding customer requirements before proposing solutions and upselling value added products and services.
- Providing quotes and overseeing the project from initial consultation through to delivery.
- Maintaining and updating the internal CRM.
- Carrying out administrative tasks associated with the sales process.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Able to deliver against realistic achievement and KPI targets.
- Knowledge of health and safety or occupational hygiene products and services is desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
- Previous experience in telesales or customer services would be a distinct advantage.
