Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant

An inclusive and progressive school in the Borough of Ealing are seeking a Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 and small group support to children with communication and learning difficulties. As a Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to deliver material in Maths, Reading, Writing, Phonics and more, as well as assisting specific children with SEN/SEMH needs.

Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant Job Description

  • £105 - £110 per day
  • Full-time role (term-term only)
  • Monday - Friday (no weekends)
  • Located in Ealing
  • Long-Term, Full-Time role
  • ASAP start
  • Providing support to students with learning and communication challenges in the classroom as well as in small groups
  • Assisting teaching staff to ensure a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment for everyone

The Ideal Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Experience working with children across KS1
  • A desire to kickstart their career in teaching, education, or childcare
  • A degree-level qualification and strong academics
  • Previous employment or experience with SEN/SEMH needs
