Sales Executive (Furniture)

£26,000 - £32,000 (+ Performance Bonus)  

Working Hours: 08.00 – 17.00 (1 hour lunch)

Our reputable furniture manufacturing client is currently looking for a Sales Executive to be responsible for conducting new business development through research, lead generation and networking activities and nurture clients to maximise the business’ revenue and growth potential.

Main Responsibilities of the Sales Executive     

• Develop knowledge of products, customers and the marketplace
• Review Contractors Supply Chain
• Active Sales of Products and prospecting new business’ including lead generation activities
• Maintain Quote Calendar and Diary
• Maintain and Update Prospect Calendars
• Review potential NPD by being alert to competitor offerings
• Attend Exhibitions and Meet the buyer events to gain industry knowledge and contacts
• Quoting customers and follow up
• Support of Sales emails and customer contact
• Attend pre contract & site meetings
• Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
• Account Management, understanding the client and building a great relationship with key decision makers.

Experience and Skills required

• Previous Sales Experience, including Account managing and prospecting new business opportunities
• Excellent administrative software skills
• Dedication to providing excellent customer service Excellent communication and people skills
• Organised, detail orientated, able to work to deadlines Ability to work effectively independently and within a team
• Experience in the construction or related industry (Nice to have)
• Experience in sales or customer facing activity  (Nice to have)
• Good mathematical approach/competent in Excel (Nice to have)
