PPA Cover Teacher
Location: Harlow, Chelmsford
Salary: £120 - £170 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: 3 days a week

GSL Education’s Chelmsford branch is seeking a reliable and dedicated Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) Cover Teacher to support one of our client schools in Harlow. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who enjoys classroom interaction without the added responsibility of planning or marking. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality cover during teachers' Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time.

Key Responsibilities for PPA Cover Teacher:

• Deliver pre-set lessons to support continuity of learning during the teacher's planning time, with no responsibility for planning or marking.
• Support students' learning by managing the classroom and engaging them with the lesson material.
• Adapt quickly to different classes and year groups, maintaining positive behaviour management.
• Collaborate with other staff to ensure continuity and progress in students' learning.
• Maintain a positive learning environment for all pupils.

Qualifications and Experience for PPA Cover Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience in primary education is preferred.
• Strong classroom management and adaptability across various subjects and year groups.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with students effectively.
• A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
