HR Business Partner (multi- site role including Banbury, Wellington & Limerick, Southern Ireland)

Are you an experienced HR Business Partner ready to take on a dynamic role that blends strategic and operational HR responsibilities? At VPK UK Ltd, we’re looking for an HR Business Partner who will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our people strategies, driving transformation, and supporting our business objectives.

As an HR Business Partner at VPK, you’ll be at the heart of creating an environment where our people can thrive, working closely with Plant Managers and Senior Managers to ensure that our teams are supported and the business runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior managers, offering expertise in organisational effectiveness, talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement.
  • Support employee relations (ER), providing guidance and acting as an escalation point for complex cases.
  • Ensure consistent application of policies and processes across VPK, while minimising risks.
  • Analyse HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with the People Development Business Partner to design and implement learning and development programs.
  • Coach and train managers on best practices, identifying and addressing their development needs.
  • Lead HR projects and initiatives that align with the overall business objectives.
  • Work with the HR team to design talent and retention strategies, ensuring VPK attracts and develops top talent.
  • Mentor and manage a team, fostering a culture of high performance.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven HR Business Partner experience in a fast-paced, multi-site manufacturing environment.
  • Strong relationship management at a managerial and stakeholder level.
  • Expertise in employee relations, including complex case management.
  • Experience in leading HR projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to align HR strategies to business objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and its practical application in an operational HR role.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting to inform decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • CIPD Level 5 Intermediate Certificate/Diploma in HR Management or equivalent.

Additional Information:
Regular travel with overnight stays will be required.
