Position Overview: We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our house clearance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual labor and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. You will play a crucial role in helping families and individuals clear out properties, ensuring that items are removed, sorted, and disposed of responsibly.

Key Responsibilities:

• House Clearance:

  • Assist in the thorough clearing of residential properties, including the removal of furniture, appliances, and personal belongings.
  • Sort items into categories for disposal, recycling, and donation, ensuring proper handling of all materials.

• Loading and Unloading:

  • Safely load and unload items from vehicles, ensuring minimal damage to property and belongings.
  • Use appropriate equipment (dollies, hand trucks, etc.) to transport heavy or bulky items.

• Site Management:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at job sites during and after clearance.
  • Ensure all waste is disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

• Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns.

• Health and Safety:

  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols, using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Report any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in manual labor, house clearance, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of waste disposal regulations is beneficial.
