Job Title: Data Analyst

Job type: Permanent

Location: Leeds (Hybrid – 2 days a week)

Purpose of the Job:

  • Support and lead data cleanse activities, audits, and analysis for pension schemes, while ensuring high-quality data standards and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Contribute to the development of the organisation's vision, values, and strategy.
  • Lead all data cleansing activities within the Pension Administration Team.
  • Conduct data audits for risk transfer cases and agree on data cleansing plans as schemes progress through the buy-in process.
  • Identify gaps in pension data and collaborate across various departments to improve data quality.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on pension projects involving data analysis and cleansing, including transfers, onboarding, and scheme events.
  • Apply risk management principles to all functional activities.
  • Ensure compliance with the organisation's Information Security policy.
  • Adhere to the Data Protection Policy when handling personal data related to employees, clients, or other stakeholders.
  • Act as an ambassador for the organisation at all times.

Essential:

  • Broad experience in pension scheme administration.
  • Experience in conducting in-depth reviews and gap analyses on large data sets.
  • High level of skill in data manipulation and presentation using tools like Excel, Access, or similar.
  • Experience working as an SME on pension projects or scheme events.
  • Effective communication of technical information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of pension systems and administrative processes.
  • Customer Care, focusing on delivering excellent service to customers.
  • Communicates openly and directly, using persuasion to influence other and understands customer needs and tailors services accordingly.
