Quality Systems Engineer
Opportunity to join an innovative market leading technology SME with a successful product portfolio which has led to expansion of its technical and innovation team to develop new products for market.
The Quality Engineer will support the business by providing a full range of QA and problem solving processes including quality system documentation, auditing, capability studies, CI initiatives, non-conformance management, root cause analysis etc.
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintain quality documentation and procedures to ensure correct manufacturing processes are followed
- Work with production team to investigate and report any quality concerns / issues
- Coach and advise production and quality team members on quality standards, corrective actions etc
- Maintain QMS, logs, registers and industry standards documentation
- Support with audits
- Support product testing
Skills and experience you will bring to the role:
- Experience using quality tools, techniques and statistics – PFMEA, SPC, 8D etc
- Experience managing quality documentation and QMS systems – CAPAs, ECNs, ECRs etc
- Management of QMS in a regulated environment such as Aerospace, Medical Device, Defence, Automotive etc.
- Use of measurement and dimensioning equipment
- Past success identifying CI opportunities within QMS / quality processes.
