Territory: Split between UK (focus on the Midlands area) with flexibility to travel to other areas in the UK and the Nordic region (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland)
Your Location: Remote based living anywhere in the Midlands or within an hour

Do you live in the Midlands region or within circa 1 hour with a full & valid UK driving licence & passport to freely travel outside of the UK without any restrictions?
Are you already a Field Service Engineer with circa 2 years of experience servicing Pharmaceutical Dissolution/Tablet Testing equipment?
OR are you a Chemist, Scientist or QC Analyst with circa 3+ years of experience as a super troubleshooter of Dissolution equipment in a GMP environment?
If you said yes to the above, then this brand-new Field Service Engineer role could be perfect for you!
The requirements for the Field Service Engineer - Dissolution Testing & Automated Sample Preparation:
- You could already be an experienced Field Service or Site Engineer with circa 2 years of experience servicing Pharmaceutical Dissolution/Tablet Testing equipment
- You could also be a Chemist, Scientist or QC Analyst with circa 3+ years of experience as a super troubleshooter of Dissolution/Tablet Testing equipment in a GMP environment
- You will be educated in either a life science/chemistry or engineering subject
- Must hold a full and valid UK driving license & valid passport with the ability to travel freely outside of the UK to the Nordic countries without any restrictions
- Experience of effective verbal communication skills in a customer facing or customer service environment, with excellent telephone manner
The responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer - Dissolution Testing & Automated Sample Preparation:
- Travel to customer sites in and around the Midlands area/around the UK as required and the Nordic countries to deliver routine planned maintenance and breakdown support in line with my client’s service plans
- Refurbish and validate equipment for the refurbished instrument program in line with SOPs
- Identify new customers or new market segments that could become long term accounts
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to allow continuation of business and win incremental business
- Perform onsite duties including, service, validation, repair, accurately and in a timely fashion
- Complete and submit all paperwork to the admin team
- Build and maintains relationship with existing and new customers
- Promote the company’s brand and range of services where applicable
- Manage and be accountable for stock allocated to the service call
- Provide remote support via phone and email to customers where requested
- Maintain knowledge of the products and services
