PRS are working with one of the leading international providers of facilities management to find a dynamic and forward-thinking Catering Manager for one of their key educational sites in Aberdeen.This is a permanent position with a salary of £35,000 to £38,000 dependent on experience, working 5 days out of 7, 40 hours per week. Some evenings and weekends will be required as per the needs of the business, as the operation is very strong on hospitality events.

Please be aware that to be considered for this position, you must have previous experience in a contract catering operation in a management capacity. You must also be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and organisational skills, preferably in a multi -outlet operation.You will have direct reports from the Head chefs and retail managers at site and have overall responsibility for 9 catering and retail operations that are spread across the site which is quite expansive, serving up to 8,000 customers. Due to this, it is highly desirable that you drive and have your own transport.

The role requires little kitchen work and is hugely focused on ensuring all health and safety criteria and company protocols are fully adhered to, and to ensure the consistent delivery of food quality and food service standards as per company guidelines. Control of budgets, stock levels, recruitment, and forecasting are also key to the role.This is a role that requires a manager who can show commitment, leadership, and the ability to ‘think out of the box’.
