Business Insurance Account Handler, 30K - 40K, Hybrid, Oxford

Global CTS recruitment are working with a client based in Oxford. They're looking for an SME Insurance Account Manager to join their growing team. The Insurance Account Manager will be responsible for providing an exceptional service to clients and quality support to colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with front facing Sales professionals, responsible for the day to day servicing of SME client accounts
  • Applies insurance knowledge & principles to day to day work queries
  • Ability to apply standard policy wording, extensions and limitations
  • Has a general understanding of the underwriting, claims and broking processes
  • To act as point of reference with insurers and dealing with negotiations
  • Working always to business operational standards, policy and processes
  • Having awareness of the different distribution channels
  • To build positive working relationships with internal colleagues and teams
  • To use client applications accurately and as defined by the business including invoicing and maintaining quality data
  • To look for opportunities to satisfy client needs with other services and products, passing those opportunities to internal colleagues
  • To maintain own learning

Qualifications/Experience

  • Experience Commercial Insurance experience
  • CII qualification or working towards desirable
  • Experience of selling to an SME
  • Excellent communication, administration and decision-making skills
  • Sound technical knowledge of the Insurance Industry with reference to commercial insurance
  • Ability to organise workflow, prioritising tasks and managing own time
  • Confident in using Microsoft Suite
  • Working knowledge of broking processes and regulatory standards
  • Up to date knowledge of FCA compliance rules
