My client is offering a contract opportunity for a skilled Pipefitter to join their team on an initial 6-month contract, based in Helensburgh. You will be responsible for undertaking fitting activities, repairs and inspections on systems and equipment on all aspects of work completed within the estate and, when required, in other sections.

Role: Pipefitter
Contract: Initially 6-months
Hours: 36 hours per week
Hourly Rate: Competitive
Location: Helensburgh, Faslane
IR35 Status: Inside
Start date: ASAP

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC clearance for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform installations, inspections, diagnosis of problems/faults/leaks, testing, repair, and maintenance on various pipe systems.
• Engage in on-site tasks including fabrication, pipe bending, welding, and pipe fitting.
• Maintain manual handling and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications required:

• Have experience as a coded welder Tig / Stick welding
• Demonstrate familiarity with the tools, equipment and materials commonly used in the role.
