The Witton/ Birmingham operation now have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role of the Maintenance Supervisor will support and give guidance to the maintenance department teams with regard to the day-to-day running of the shift and on technical issues. The position is office based with a shop floor presence as and when required; 

  • Full Continental shifts – 4 on 4 off days and nights (shift premium payment applies)

The ideal candidate will have the ability to drive and motivate the team in completing all planned jobs, breakdowns and all other work during that shift by ensuring all craft employees are working effectively.

This role is considered a safety critical role for the plant, as the responsible EP3 and incident controller on shift. Will act as the responsible person for Nak and high voltage in the event of an incident.

In addition, this role will have responsibility for ensuring Permit to Works and Risk Assessment and Method Statements are issued and carried out correctly in line with activity being completed and company process.

The ideal candidate will be a time served apprentice in electrical or mechanical discipline or have obtained a recognised qualification in this field. Ideally with experience of leading or managing safely with an IOSH qualification.
