Overview

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and coordination of major engineering projects, focusing on mechanical & Electrical systems across various building types. You will manage teams to ensure efficient project execution, from feasibility studies and fee bid preparation to project delivery. Responsibilities include cost and profit analysis, managing project schedules, and preparing detailed reports for clients and management. You will also ensure compliance with industry standards, lead technical meetings, and take a proactive approach in risk and performance management. With a focus on high-quality outcomes, you will play a key role in engineering solutions and project success.

Additional Key Responsibilities:

Client-Facing Excellence: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Front-End Engagement: Take a proactive role in the early stages of projects, engaging with clients to understand their needs and presenting tailored solutions.

Relationship Builder: Leverage strong interpersonal skills to network, develop new business opportunities, and represent the company at client and industry events.

Sales-Focused: Confidently promote the company’s services, effectively communicating the value and expertise of the team to secure new projects and expand business.

Technical Expertise: Utilise exceptional mechanical design knowledge to guide project teams, ensuring high-quality, innovative solutions that meet client needs.

Collaborative Leadership: Lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and ensuring smooth project coordination and delivery.

Client Challenge Resolution: Handle difficult clients with professionalism, finding solutions that balance client demands with project requirements while maintaining positive relationships.
