The below job description will outline this position of: (Shipwright)

Typically, this person will a bit of an all rounder assisting in routine maintenance and refit work in the Marine industry, 

HSB Technical’s client is a very established and well-regarded business entity.

Duties and responsibilities of the (Shipwright):

•  Able to work with GRP Steel, Aluminium and wood vessels             
•   Finishing Skills, Painting and Varnishing           
•  Complete and task delegated, that falls within the Shipwright/Boat builders skills, experience and training,             
•  Assist with slipping and launching vessels              
• Competence in workshop machinery and hand tools.            

Qualifications and requirement for the (Shipwright):

•    Time served or Proven track record in the marine Industry           
•    Good knowledge of RHIB (Pacific 22/24 ) experience including knowledge of Jet drive propulsion systems would be advantageous. 
•  Boat handling qualifications would be an advantage (Powerboat Level 2/ RYA day skipper ect)       
•   would be expected to work on MOD sites when required           
•   Security Vetting will be required 
•   Driving license is essential.
