Senior Quantity Surveyor

Role: Senior QS

Location: Dover Eastern Docks

Pay Rate: Refer to Randstad

Start date: ASAP

Contract: Freelance

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing all aspects of quantity surveying.
• Liaising with clients and ensuring all work requirements are met.
• Oversee cost reconciliations, applications and valuations.
• Cost control and forecasting, monthly reports on information(value, cost, profit/loss, cash flow)
• Maintain positivity within the workplace, provide open and accurate feedback.
• Supply chain management.
• Assisting with risk and value management to optimize solutions and review with the team.
• Contract management - including all relevant contract forms, methods and budget control and regular software applications.
• Support preparation of subcontract enquiries, negotiate and set up contracts.
• Ensuring all documents and information are up to date.
• Ensure all safety risk situations are known by all site management.
• Ongoing liaison with site team, subcontractors and clients representatives.
• Providing correct contractual advice to the site team.
• Ensure all steps to confidentiality and private information sensitivity.

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• CSCS
• First Aid
• Experience in Civils, groundworks.
