Employee Relations Partner

The Planet Group has recently been engaged by a market leading Aerospace company to recruit an Employee Relations Partner for a permanent position in Wolverhampton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with managers on employee relations (ER) issues, including performance, policy breaches, sickness, discipline, grievances, and flexible working.
- Support restructuring projects (redundancy, TUPE).
- Advise managers during Disciplinary Advisor Committee calls, guiding them in making recommendations.
- Support on cases reaching ACAS early conciliation and tribunals.
- Manage a diverse caseload efficiently, ensuring adherence to policies and mitigating risks.
- Provide insights to influence all organizational levels.
- Assist the Head of Employee Relations in maintaining and improving ER data recording systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends and case law.
- Promote and drive company culture.
Requirements:
- Strong legal background with solid ER experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Employee Relations and HR best practices.
- CIPD (or equivalent) qualification preferred.
- Ability to partner with HR and Legal teams to manage ER cases effectively.
- Excellent written/verbal communication, coaching, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and influence decisions.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law to identify and mitigate risks.
- Ability to influence leadership and build trust quickly.
