Job Opportunity: Architectural Steel Production and Workshop Manager

Location: Norwich
Reporting to: Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Steel Production and Workshop Manager to join our dynamic team in Norwich. This role is crucial to the successful delivery of architectural steel projects, overseeing the workshop's production processes and ensuring efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day production of architectural steelwork, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to project specifications
  • Lead and motivate the workshop team to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Oversee workshop operations, including scheduling, material procurement, and equipment maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards within the workshop
  • Coordinate closely with the Project Manager to ensure production aligns with project timelines
  • Troubleshoot production issues, resolve bottlenecks, and optimize workflow processes
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory levels, and equipment usage

Key Requirements:

  • Strong background in architectural steelwork production
  • Experience managing workshop teams and production schedules
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to steel production
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
