Diamond Search Recruitment are delighted to be representing our client, an exciting and fast paced agency, who are recruiting for a Content Manager.   Join a highly successful company and help lead the creative offering to the next level.  The role is a permanent opportunity, with offices based in Folkestone, Kent.  Hybrid working is available with an ideal requirement of working 3 days a week onsite.

The role - The Content Managerwill drive seamless and effective content delivery across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals while maintaining a high level of quality and performance. You will collaborate with key internal teams, such as SEO, PR, project management, and content, to create compelling content that meets client needs and supports digital marketing objectives. By managing content plans, ensuring timely execution, and maintaining strong relationships with brands and stakeholders, the Content Manager will help enhance digital presence, improve SEO performance, and contribute to overall business growth of our clients.

The Content Manager will be required to do the following:

  • Leading and managing a team of writers.

  • Aligning content planning with the SEO team to ensure trending topics are effectively covered.

  • Collaborating with Project Managers and Account Managers to meet client needs.

  • Managing content calendars and tracking deliverables.

  • Work alongside the Project and Account Managers to brief and oversee the content team on delivery tasks.

  • Collaborate with the Digital PR team to brainstorm and coordinate content plans aimed at enhancing backlink strategies.

  • Conduct quality assurance (QA) checks on content output across all projects, ensuring the highest quality standards are consistently met.

  • Provide weekly deliverable updates (alongside the Account Managers) to highlight key content progress, achievements, blockers, and opportunities across projects.

  • Coordinate with client partners and agencies to ensure alignment on content needs to meet project objectives and KPIs.

  • Collaborate with the Head of Content and Senior Creative Manager to define deliverables and timelines for freelance-based projects.

  • Regularly report to the Senior Creative Manager, providing clear updates on progress and flagging any potential blockers.

  • Step in to manage content tasks on behalf of the Senior Creative Manager during periods of absence, as required.

The successful Content Manager should ideally be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience with team management, setting goals and objectives, as well as always-on improvement plans.

  • Demonstrable experience managing content for web, blogs, email, and social media.

  • Ability to interpret data from Google Analytics.

  • Lead content projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

  • Familiarity with best practices for SEO and how to implement them in content creation.

  • Proven track record of using various channels (e.g., social media, email, blogs) to distribute content effectively and drive engagement.

  • Ability to inspire, manage, and develop a team of content creators.

The Content Manager will be rewarded with a salary of £30-37,000, depending on experience, plus excellent company benefits.
