£39,000 per annum inclusive of shift premium + Training + Progression + Life Assurance

This company have been established for over 200 years and due to continued growth are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join the team. In this role you will be working on the windings in motors.

This role would suit an individual from a manufacturing environment who can read engineering drawings and have experience of root cause analysis and looking for a new role within a well-established company where you can progress your skills further.

The Role:

• Duties include but not limited to jointing of wet wound motors up to 11kv, pull through wet wound winding to electrical specifications and drawings, tie in of windings, basket winding, ferrule, hand tapped, and 3M scotch guard jointing, moulded joints and use of Babyplast plastic injection moulding equipment, flash testing of wound stators and connected stators up to 33kv, production of Terminal Gland Mouldings.
• Shift pattern - Early shift: Mon-Thu 06.00-14.15, Fri 06.00-12.00. Late shift: Mon-Thu 14.15 - 22.30, Fri 12.00 - 18.00
• 33 days including bank holidays plus option to purchase additional 10 holidays via salary sacrifice, 5%/3.5% pension, 4x Life Assurance

The Person:

• Electrical health & safety awareness and electrical or mechanical NVQ qualification are desirable.
• Attention to detail, problem solving skills
