Days: Monday - Friday (Term Time Only)

LTF Recruitment is seeking a patient and dedicated ASD Teaching Assistant to join our partner primary school located in the Selly Oak area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about working with children on the Autism spectrum. The role involves providing 1:1 support to a Key Stage 1 child with ASD who is non-verbal. The role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become permanent.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience providing 1:1 support to children.
  • Experience or knowledge of working with children with ASD, SLCN, and non-verbal communication needs.
  • Understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Experience managing challenging behaviour.
  • TA qualifications or a relevant degree.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
