Job Title: Vehicle Technician

Salary: Basic Salary varies from £32,000  - £37,000 depending on experience – plus profit share  

Hours: Monday to Friday – NO Weekends (45hrs per week)

Location: Main Dealership, Sudbury  

Hawkfield Recruitment is working with a family-run dealer group with Dealerships across Suffolk. We are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join their busy Sudbury Dealership.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that heavily invests in their colleague's training and career development. You will be working on all makes and models of vehicles and gain manufacturer training for their authorised brands.

Responsibilities of Vehicle Technician:

• To advise relevant team members of any additional work found necessary on a vehicle.
• To inspect and carry out repairs and servicing on vehicles to a high standard and report inconsistencies to specification and faults correctly and in a timely manner.
• Carry out routine vehicle servicing to manufacturer and dealer standards.
• Carry out ongoing training offered by the dealer and manufacturer.
• Carry out diagnostic work to a high standard.

Ideal candidate and Requirements for Vehicle Technician:

• Minimum of NVQ/IMI Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or Equivalent
• At least two years workshop experience
• Full UK Driving Licence

In addition to the basic salary which is between £32,000 - £37,000 – you will also earn bonus through a company profit share.
