Warehouse and Production Operative | Wolverhampton | 37.5 hour peer | Monday to Friday 9.30am-5:30pm (1/2 hour break) | Up to £12.80 per hour

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Valid Counterbalance and Flexi forklift truck license and experience
  • Familiarity with picking, packing, and general warehouse operations
  • Clean driving licence
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items following safety protocols
  • Ability to use warehouse management/courier systems.
  • Ensure accurate order picking and packing, and correct product delivery
  • Understanding of safety regulations, especially when operating heavy machinery like forklifts
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Punctual and dependable, ensuring consistent attendance and performance
  • Able to switch between different tasks, from forklift driving to assisting in the factory
  • Takes pride in work, willing to go the extra mile when needed
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management
  • Prioritises safety in all operations, both for themselves and for others
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Friendly and professional when handling deliveries and interacting with customers

What will your role look like?

  • Taking deliveries of goods and supplies
  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
  • Moving and storing stocks
  • Sorting and storing goods correctly
  • Picking and packing orders
  • Checking for damaged or missing items
  • Assisting the production team in the factory in order to get products packaged, labelled and palletised
  • Using poly wrap equipment
  • Making deliveries if required
  • Keeping work areas clean and tidy
