The structural engineering team of this high-profile global leader has an exemplary track record of sustainable and innovative design, offering a professional and collaborative approach.

Their Sheffield office has an excellent opportunity for a senior structural engineer, able to take a lead role on building structures designs for some of the most iconic UK and international schemes.

Your sector experience should include education, healthcare, commercial and retail.

As a senior structural engineer your skills should include experience in verification and checking of specifications, design schemes and calculations, as well as the production of project reports.

You will also assist with supervising more junior members of the team, working together to ensure successful project delivery whilst managing client expectation and financial deadlines.

The successful senior structural engineer will possess a structural engineering degree and will be able to demonstrate extensive hands-on experience within a consultancy environment.

Your skillset should include proficiency in relevant software packages such as AutoCAD and BIM and you will have designed in all traditional materials exhibiting a passion and flair for creative design.

A high level of communication skill is vital, as well as keen initiative and a technically astute mind.
