Key responsibilities include:

The role of a Nursery Assistant requires extensive knowledge of children, including their interests, needs, and development. You must be able to keep children entertained, teach them in a way that is easily understandable, and create a fun and engaging environment.
Skills and experience:
- Level 3 - Diploma for Childcare (or equivalent qualification)
- Experience working and playing with children
- Proactive and motivated approach
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Professionalism and ability to work well in a team
- Effective communication and active listening
- Knowledge of children's stories and nursery rhymes
- Flexibility and understanding
- Positive and cheerful demeanour
- Ability to manage stress and remain calm
- Initiative and time management skills
