Position Overview:

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing our plant, equipment, and facilities. Your mechanical expertise will ensure maximum equipment availability and operational efficiency. This role involves planning, prioritizing, coordinating, and executing maintenance tasks, all while adhering to safety and quality standards.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute maintenance tasks and respond promptly to breakdowns.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical equipment.
  • Maintain factory equipment, including CNC machinery.
  • Promote equipment improvements and efficiency savings.
  • Perform day-to-day mechanical fault-finding and rectification.
  • Engage in planned preventative maintenance and process improvements.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing techniques and update associated documentation.
  • Utilize skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical diagnostics.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum ONC/HNC or equivalent in Mechanical engineering.
  • At least 5 years' experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or engineering.
  • Time-served Apprenticeship with machine tool experience in a mechanical environment.
  • Practical knowledge of machining, welding, and fabricating techniques.
  • Experience working with pneumatics and/or hydraulics
