We are currently working with a leading M&E contractor with a turnover of circa £750m and a strong presence delivering MEP packages up to £100m internationally who require a senior MEP planner or planning manager to join their London business unit.

Joining a £60m M&E mixed use and multi-stage commercial scheme in Central London, you will work closely with the ops manager and all relevant stakeholders acting as the lead planner through the PCSA stage before going to site next year to deliver to completion in 2027, you will have a team of more junior planners across the scheme. 

Role and Responsibilities:


• Project Planning using Primavera P6 and Asta 
• Develop Pre-Construction, Construction and Commissioning Programs as part of the Dornan project team
• Development of the Project Controls Systems specific to the projects, including setting up WBS, Progress Measurement System, developing S-Curves, cost loading, and baselining schedules
• Progress Measuring of all works, direct and sub-contract, using the company bespoke PMS, including monitoring labour hours and analysing efficiencies, updating schedule in Primavera or ASTA, system turnover tracking, monitoring delays, notifying clients of delays, monthly reporting to management and project reports
• Management of the site planning team


Qualifications and Experience Required:
• Minimum 8 years experience in construction planning
• Advanced user of Primavera P6
• Solid Mechanical and Electrical construction experience, ideally in projects £100m+
• Knowledge and experience of Delay Analysis Techniques
• People Management skills
