About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher with Smile Education, you will step into various primary school classrooms, delivering pre-planned lessons or providing cover for short- and long-term absences. Whether you're newly qualified, an experienced teacher, or simply seeking flexibility in your career, this role offers the opportunity to work across diverse settings while positively impacting children's education.
You can choose your working days and preferences, making it ideal for those who enjoy a dynamic, flexible work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering high-quality teaching and learning in line with the school's curriculum.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.
  • Adapting to different classroom settings and age groups (EYFS, KS1, KS2).
  • Following lesson plans and marking work as required.
  • Supporting the development of pupils' skills and knowledge, helping them to reach their full potential.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in primary schools, ideally across different year groups.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students quickly.
  • A flexible, positive, and professional approach to working in different schools.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
