IT Support Specialist - Permanent - Crawley - Hybrid - £40-45k per annum

Our client is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join their End User Services team. This permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys providing a blend of technical and client-facing support. You’ll be responsible for managing client support for Windows PCs and iPhones, handling device lifecycle management, and providing first and second-line technical support.

A key focus on PC imaging, iPhone setup, and managing client hardware is critical to this role. You will work in a collaborative team environment and liaise closely with suppliers and clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction. Full training on tools and processes will be provided.

This role is based in Crawley, with a hybrid work model (varies week to week depending on tasks) During busy periods, you will be required to be in the office more frequently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent client support to internal users across European offices.
  • Manage and support PC builds, imaging, and device lifecycle (Windows 10/11) to ensure machines are updated every 6 months.
  • Support iPhone management – procurement, setup, SIM card installation, and refresh cycles (every 3 years).
  • Troubleshoot technical issues (PC and iPhone), including first and second-line support (e.g., email syncing, password resets, app issues).
  • Deploy software upgrades and Windows OS upgrades using MECM and Ivanti LANDesk.
  • Data backup management using Redstor PRO.
  • Maintain Windows Defender and other anti-malware protection systems.
  • Manage device security, ensuring compliance with security policies (Windows Defender 365).
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain accurate records of support activities.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Full UK driving license (office is not near public transport)
  • Experience in a client support role (5+ years desirable).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Experience with iPhone setup and management.
  • Familiarity with PC imaging and lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Knowledge of Ivanti LANDesk, MECM, Windows Defender, Redstor, and Malwarebytes is advantageous.
  • Basic networking skills (cable patching, switches, routers).
  • A proactive, organized, and methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Understanding of IT and information security policies.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
