Then reach out! Kingston Barnes is recruiting a Senior Design Engineer for one of our clients in the Gloucester area.

The Company:

The company design and manufacture industrial valves and similar products.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be working within the engineering team to investigate new technologies and manufacturing methods, deliver innovative new products to the market and optimise costs in existing designs.

Duties & responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Develop product concepts and customer requirements into viable design solutions
• Development of innovative solutions to industry wide problems.
• Investigation into materials and manufacturing options to optimise, cost-effectiveness, and performance.
• Design of tests to evaluate products and solutions meet customer and regulatory requirements
• Guaranteeing deadlines are met to ensure the success of development projects.
• Management and progress reporting on several small research projects.

About you:

• Hold relevant qualifications
• Computer skills in 3D Design / 2D Drafting (Solid Edge)
• Experience with new product introduction
• Experience managing projects

Package:

• £55,000 per year
• 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
