Planning Manager

My client is a leading, long-established, and award-winning waste management, environmental and quarrying company who are looking to appoint an ambitious Planner to their Reading based team!

In this challenging role you will be involved in a variety of exciting planning and development projects, ranging from (but not limited to) minerals and waste planning, renewable energy, sustainability, and commercial development projects. In this role, you will strengthen the Estates team, which manages a large and diverse property portfolio, including industrial, agricultural, residential, leisure and commercial assets.

We are seeking applications from candidate who hold an RTPI or RICS accredited degree or an equivalent qualification, and an RTPI or RICS professional membership (or working towards). Previous experience within the minerals or waste industry beneficial, as well as previous experience of managing a project team. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, and will have excellent organisational, negotiation, and analytical skills!
