Design Technology Teacher required in an 'outstanding' secondary school based in Brentwood, Essex

Required for an immediate start!

Are you available for a long-term teaching role in a secondary school to start as soon as possible?

We are looking for an experienced D&T teacher to work in an outstanding and vibrant grammar secondary school in Brentwood, Essex. This will be to initially cover a long-term position across KS3 and KS4 and for the right candidate, a permanent position will be offered. This is a great opportunity to be part of an ever growing Art & Design department that is diverse and ever evolving. NQTs are welcome to apply also!

Who is the school looking for?

  • Experienced DT Teacher
  • Teaching KS3 to KS4
  • Textiles or Graphics experience would also be an advantage but not essential
  • NQTs are welcome to apply
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Ability to create fun and engaging lessons
  • Ability to manage behaviour effectively
  • Positive and helpful attitude
  • Happy to teach sets as well as mixed ability classes
