Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support for students in classroom settings and during extracurricular activities.
- Assist in developing tailored learning plans to meet individual student needs.
- Implement strategies to help students manage challenging behaviours.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to contribute to a positive learning environment.
- Participate in training and continuous professional development (CPD) opportunities.
- Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Education.
- Have recent experience working in a secondary education environment.
- Demonstrate confidence in supporting students with challenging behaviour.
- Possess a sound understanding of SEND and related strategies.
- Be flexible and adaptable in their teaching and support approaches.
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Commit to ongoing training and professional development.
- Hold an enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for one.
- Provide references covering the last two years of employment.
