The School and Role
We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly primary school in North Tyneside. Working as part of an established team, the desired Higher Level Teaching Assistant will be supporting lessons in KS1. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm. This school creates a really supportive atmosphere, so children feel safe and happy in school.
Requirements
- Has HLTA status
- Will promote school values, attitudes to learning and good pupil behaviour
- Interventions in English and Maths
- Planning and leading teaching and learning activities (under supervision)
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
